Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using Hack University, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.
Admission & accounts
Admission is selective: you apply, and accounts can only be created by accepted applicants. You're responsible for keeping your account secure and for everything done under it. One person, one account.
Acceptable use & honor code
- Represent your work honestly, here and to employers.
- Don't abuse the code sandbox, AI tools, or APIs, and don't attempt to bypass rate limits or security controls.
- Don't post unlawful, harassing, or infringing content in the community.
- Don't scrape, resell, or redistribute paid content without permission.
Premium & billing
The curriculum is free for admitted students. Premium features are billed monthly through Stripe. You can cancel anytime, and access continues through the end of the paid period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
Your content
You keep ownership of the code, notes, and posts you create. You grant us a limited license to store and display them as needed to operate the platform. We may remove content that violates these terms.
Disclaimer & liability
The platform is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee employment outcomes. To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the service.
Changes
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.
